Nice mood. I used to hang out down there when I was living in Tucson and Globe.

Thanks, Ralph. I wish we'd have bumped into each other. I've been a Mill Rat since around 1971.

Nice shot. I thought I saw water reflection in the shot but noticed where it was taken, then wasn't sure. I took a look at the map and take it that is the Salt River I am seeing?

Thanks, everyone. Your taking a look and comments are very appreciated. Sue, the Salt River itself is quite dry, except when snowmelt and runoff occur during a stormy period of time. This will be followed by water being released from the four dams and associated lakes upstream and water will flow through the entire Salt River.

Here are some photos that were taken a few years ago showing water flowing in The Salt River. http://malarz.com/snapshots/snapshots%5F03/

The City of Tempe built two dams one at approximately its western borderline and the other at its eastern. They then filled the area between them and established the Tempe Town Lake. The Lake has become, I'm told, the second largest tourist attraction in the state. The Grand Canyon is the first.

Now, in this photo, the lake would be behind the viewer's point of view by a considerable distance, about a mile or so. Anything that looks like water is probably light reflected of by the road surface or that of the bricks used as pavers for the sidewalks.

Again, I appreciate everyone looking and the comments.
