I traded in my full frame Nikon equipment for an Olympus OM D E M1 Mark II, mainly because I got tired of schlepping around all that heavy gear, especially after having had a heart attack. This was my first outing with the new camera. The learning curve is steeper than I thought it would be. Any CC greatly appreciated.

You certainly took great pictures here!

Bruce, I do not see anything that requires any improvement. Both your "eye" and the camera are in synch.

No, thankfully did not have to have that. Next is implant surgery for apnea. Getting old sucks.

How right You are Oldpsych. Had a heart attack in 2008 in the waiting room at the hospital while my Wife was having a port surgically implanted. When She woke up I was in surgery having two stints put in. Soo many pills and blood thinners since then. This past Friday at 3:30 am I had to call 911 for a trip to the ER. Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, what ever RVR is. Discharged 2 and a half days later with two more prescriptions. Amiodarone Hydrochloride tablets and Eliquis which I think is fairly new on the market. When the pharmacy called telling Me that they were ready for pickup the Pharmacist said I need to warn You about the Eliquis. Take the Eliquis twice a day and a months supply retail cost is slightly over $500.00 a bottle retail. My cost is $116.00, and You have 11 more refills. Damn near had another heart attack when She said $500.00. They have My blood so thin now I need to wear long sleeve shirts all the time to hide all the bruises.

A nice set of animal photos. Looks like the new gear works well for you. I tried switching to mirrorless, but find the smaller camera does not work well for me, sticking with Canon DSLRs. Have a nice Canon M5 unit + lenses for sale.

I am sure that you know by now that the Olympus OM-D 1 Mk II is a superb camera. If you are shooting at the 4:3 default ratio you are shooting full frame since the camera is using the whole sensor to record the images.
You did not mention what lens you used but those images are of excellent quality, a combination of your expertise as a photographer and the Zuiko optics.
I recommend that you always use with Picture Control NATURAL colors. Olympus colors are in my opinion one of the best colors of all the cameras I have used because they fit my taste. Many professional photographers using Olympus do exactly the same.
You have a great assortment of optics that are razor sharp and as a bonus all Panasonic lenses fit the camera and work to perfection.
I bet you will never look back.
