Built in Wahlbach, France between 1618 - 1648. Moved to Castroville, TX 350 years later.
Those lace curtains look very fitting. I can't imagine the time, money and effort that was involved in that project. You captured it quite nicely.

Thanks, dragonfist! I got lucky with the weather and nice sky that day. Only some minor post processing -- I removed an ugly "OPEN" sign that was hung over the wreath on the front door, and I flipped the weather vane on the roof so the dates would be readable. Unfortunately, I left a little noise in the sky around it in the process. Practice, practice, practice...
Speaking of the effort involved, I read an interesting article on the house that explains that it was originally constructed using pegs rather than nails, so it was disassembled, catalogued and reassembled using pegs.
