My favorite place in all of Hawaii....
A dozen RAW shots with the camera vertical and merged in Lightroom. Final image is 580MB. Panasonic LX100 "travel camera", hand held.
Nice photo, Bill. I really like the lighting. I am curious, was this shot in the AM or PM? I'm thinking AM.

I shot it two years ago and memory agrees it was morning before anybody showed up. The beach is public but the lawn belongs to a condo complex with rentals. We had one for 10 days. In many trips to Hawaii, including living there a few years, I've never found a more perfect beach.
I wanted to remember the mood and ambiance. I struggled with a variety of single frame shots, time-lapse and video. My personal best of the trip was this 12 shot pano. I printed it to wall hang. It makes me smile when I pass it in the hall.

I have photos from trips to Maui that bring me that same smile.

Beautiful lighting
Thanks! It pays to get up in the morning. It is easier on a sunny, breezy day on Kauai than near Seattle on a windy, rainy day.
