Do you have a simple piece of sheet music, such as for piano, of any well known song (for example Jingle Bells, Heart & Soul, some movie themes)? If you do, would you be willing to scan (or photograph) a page and upload here? My Google search is not going well

Someone gave me the idea to create an actual line of music using the birds in one of my photos of blackbirds on hops growing wires, and I thought that was a super-clever idea!

Many thanks.

Clever idea. My scanning computer has been put away, and I have to set up my scanner on a different computer, so I don't have scanning capability now. I'd like to see what you do with the music when you get it.

Thanks Jerry, I'll put you on my list to notify

Several people over the years have suggested my birds on hops growing apparatus look like sheet music, but UHH user rborud was the first to suggest actually re-forming (by cloning etc) the birds into real music.

Linda, google

sheet music

But, before you enter the search term, click on images in the upper right corner of the google home page. There's tons of what your looking for.

Thanks Big-guy and Bob! I was doing that, but seemed the ones that came up were awfully complex. Maybe because I haven't attempted to read sheet music for 40 years

Thank you Greg! I need the actual notes, though The "bar" (is that the right word?) is already, or mostly, within the photo itself (wires that birds are sitting on). Sorry for confusion but I appreciate your time!

Be very careful with this. Most sheet music is copyrighted and the copyright holders are often very protective of their rights. As a photographer you should understand and respect copyright law.

Hmm, maybe that's why rborud suggested Beethoven; is his stuff fair use? I wouldn't be offering any composite for sale, mostly just sharing on UHH, but I very much appreciate your note and will look into more carefully.

The original Beethoven stuff would be fair use. The problem is any sheet music available today would be property of whoever created that actual sheet music.
