Each night, I turn an outside light on to see what insects are attracted to it. You would be surprised at the variety. Here are two members of the Tree Hoppers (Membracidae) and one Fulgoroidea member that came to the light. BTW, the light is an ordinary florescent bulb -screw in variety. These have all been cropped and tweaked in PS.
Anormenis chloris
Glossonotus univittatus
Ceresa palmeri
Nice assortment and well photographed.

very nice,i will have to see what comes out at night here.tom
Thanks everyone. If anyone would like to see more of my insect photos, you can visit Bug Guide at
http://bugguide.net/bgimage/user/20113 which should take you directly to my images, all 2058 of them! But please remember that due to limitations of the web site, all of these photos have been cropped and resampled to a size that they require. The originals are much, much better.

Nice bug shots, I also checked out your Bug Guide...very nice. I especially like the shots of the Tennessee bugs. :)
Also, in that catagory was a photo of orange mushrooms...very pretty.
Thank you, I appreciate the comments.
