Thanks. The winter tree I use as my avatar. I used to change the avatar with the seasons. But I il'l keep this one as a tribute to a lost "friend"

What you have done is what I always wanted to do but have always put it off. Ypu captured the silence of the tree being cut down. What an ending.. I congratulate you for the series.

Thanks, It took a year to put the "seasons' pics together. It took a strong wind about 10 seconds to knock it down.

To think of all the storms it had withstood over those 100 years but to be brought to its knees so abruptly. A metaphor in there somewhere. I love the beauty of winter.
