I use primos truth cams on the farm. Cheap, easy to use, durable, the only cam out there that can be locked to a tree using just a master python lock. I have 8. One broke last year after 4 years in the field. They take reasonably good pics.

Hi Bill,
I have posted a couple trail camera videos on UHH. My camera works excellent! It is a Browning Strike Force HD Pro model 5HDP. As you can see on the videos I did the quality is very good. The one strong thing also is the long battery life. I had it out for over 10 weeks and the 6 batterys (AA size) lasted the whole time. It does emit a faint red glow when triggered after dark. Some cameras are a no-glow. I use to have a Stealth Cam, model was something like G42-NG. I thought it worked well until I compared it to the Browning and returned the Stealth Cam after it died. If you have any questions please ask me. By the way, the video I posted on UHH this week was made up of about 16 video clips from the month of October. It actually triggered over 800 times and I cut it down to the best 16! By the way, I can do one or three still photos or up to 20 second videos. I use the 20 second video and then edit it down to the size I want in movie maker.

Hi Bill, br I have posted a couple trail camera vi... (show quote)

Good morning Bill,
Thank you for your reply. I have never thought of video, but I really like yours. Have a still of a bear standing up scratching its back. I would love a video of that. Also like the long battery life. I may have to get a trail camera online. Really didn't want to spend that much, but it looks as if it would be well worth it. I think mine must have gotten moisture in it. Thanks again.

Thank you for your reply. I haven't heard of Primos cameras. Will check them out. Where I live there is very little human activity in the woods, so locking the camera (s) hasn't been necessary. Yet! Knock on wood. Thanks again.
