I subscribe to it. I get a magazine once a month. I got a subscription deal that I couldn't pass up. Lots of ads, and reviews of new cameras. And some interesting articles. If you can get a good two year deal, like I did, go for it. The magazine is thinner than in past years. Popular Photography Magazine is gone. Support Shutterbug, otherwise they will end up like Popular Photography. Gone.

It's ok considering there's not much competition anymore.

I've bought & or subscribed to it for probably 30 years. I get it through the Zinio APP online for about $10-12/ year. Yes it's thinner, because many of the advertisers now Link to their Web Site. I find something interesting in each issue. For less than $1/issue to me it's worth it. I also get Rangefinder for Free, have for at least 25 years. Digital PhotoPro, and did get Pop Photo until it stopped.

There are so many Good forums, specific to your interests & Youtube Channels There's just a wealth of pro insight available for free it's no wonder magazines are hurting.

I get it and study the articles in it as it has good teaching points.
I had dropped the others just for the lack of teaching points.
Also I enjoy Outdoor Photographer as well for the same reason.

I subscribe and really think the magazine is not as good as Popular Photography. All magazines and newspapers seem to be economizing on the ink. Do not like the mag....

I have subscribed to shutter bug since they started publication. To tell you the truth, I liked it a little better when it was physically larger and had lots of used equipment listed in the back. Fortunately the articles are just as good as always. One of the best photography publications out there.

Purchase it, read it, and if you like it, subscribe to it.

I subscribed for a couple of years. Generally, I liked the format, articles, and reviews. But, at some point it was scaled down and became like a pamphlet, and I let my subscription lapse.
