Nice one, John. Perhaps shadowed as the other three were giants. Roosevelt was not of their caliber, tho he had a good publicist.

I'm sure that's what they had in mind when they built that mountain. "We'll add this alcove to keep the less important guy in the shadows."

I think, I heard they ran into "soft" rock.
They went deeper into the mountain to find "hard" rock to use.
That's why.
Maybe someone will jump in to confirm or deny.
