Do You Watch "Bull" on TV

I've been watching "Bull" since it started and find it an interesting show about picking the right jurors for a trial. Watching the last episode, I was surprised to see Dr. Phillip McGraw listed as one of the creators. That's "Dr. Phil," who was given his big start on TV by Oprah Winfrey. He was her adviser (or something) when she went on trial for bad-mouthing the beef industry years ago.

I watch Bull also...it's a very good show. I may be wrong, but i think it's Dr. Phil's son not him.

Aha!

EDIT: "On CBS' new drama Bull, the titular character played by Michael Weatherly is allegedly modeled on Dr. Phil McGraw and his professional beginnings as a trial scientist - a.k.a. a person who analyzes juries to see which way they're leaning."

Should have guessed it since Michael Weatherly is such a dead ringer for Dr. Phil.

It's based on Dr. Phil.

Bull is my favorite show these days. But I have always enjoyed courtroom shows. Perry Mason, Matlock, etc.

I remember a 60 Minutes from decades ago with a man who did the same thing. This was way before checking
up on people with social media. He made judgments about you according to what job you held, the car you drove,
etc. The main thing I remember is that he said he would never put a banker on a jury if he could help it because they
know how to say no to people and don't buy sob stories and excuses. Interesting.

Since you asked, yes I watch "Bull". I like the program. The wife, not so much. I record it for later viewing. I was going to say "tape it", but didn't want to date myself.
I'm wondering why "Chicago Med" isn't returning until sometime in November. The "Chicago Justice" program didn't last too long, only one season. Didn't watch it anyway. One good thing about "Chicago Justice" going away, Dawson is back on "Chicago PD".

Hi Jerry, I watch it and really like it. I was sad to see him leave NCIS, but have to admit, this is a really good show. Cheers.

It's a story close to the life of Dr. Phil. In the credits you will also see an Attanasio. He is the brother of Mark Anttansio, owner of the Milwaukee Brewers.

I have always enjoyed Michael Weatherly on NCIS and was disappointed when it was announced that he was leaving the show. However, I reckoned that he would be moving on to a show as good; or perhaps better: and looked forward to seeing which programme he turned up in.

Unfortunately, I find that Bull is accurately descriptive of the programme that he is now starring in.

There is nothing whatsoever wrong with the actors or their portrayal of their parts. What is so thoroughly disappointing is that every episode that has been shown so far is weak with little or no substance to the story lines.

This is extremely unfair to both the actors and the viewing public and is certainly a waste of all the actors talents.
