Best Steam Railroads to visit. Well, in my opinion. I'm sure there are other locations.

Really neat place. I've been there several times and it's never boring.

Steam into History in New Freedom PA. A short ride on a steam train, that traces the route of the Lincoln train. The one that took Abe Lincoln to Gettysburg for his historic address in 1863.

I miss seeing the old steam trains running what was the Nickel Plate road from Lima, Ohio, to Frankfort, Indiana, and beyond. It's an N&S route now, running diesels--not the same.

There is a retired Nickel Plate engine and tender on display near the civic center in Hammond, IN. It needs a little "tender" care right now.
