That's what I refer to as the large or standard USB connection.

Sorry Photoman022, but "great minds think alike".
Before I purchased my first DSLR a newspaper photographer friend of mine warned me,
"Forget about using the cord to download images- every camera I've ever owned
the plug-in for the cord on the camera has broken off".

I lost the cable provided with my Canon T3 to connect to the computer to download pictures. Since then I have been going nuts trying to figure out how to get a new one on Ebay. It has a bus connector on one end for the computer and what the camera labels HDMI on the other. But there are at least 3 different sizes with the same general look as this. I have already bought a set of cable that didn't match the camera end. What kind of search argument would show me what I want ?? Thanks.

Just get one specifically for the T3, easy peasy, (Canon has many camera models)!

Find a camera store in your area. Go there.

I saw that your question has been answered. I would like to add my opinion that the Mini USB plug is much more robust then the Micro USB plug. It's the one used on all the cameras and Camcorders I've owned or seen. The cameras also use the Mini HDMI not the Micro or Standard size.
