Tamron 10-20 mm for nikon d7100

Has anyone tried this lens? I'm considering getting it, but am wondering if anyone on here has experience using it. If so, how is it for sharpness? Any other information would also be helpful.

Maybe you mean a Tamron 10-24mm?

There IS a Nikon AF-P 10-20 f/4.5-5.6G VR
I'm not sure its 100% compatible with your D7100. I don't believe you can turn VR Off with the menu on a D7100. There is no VR switch on this new lens.

The Tamron 10-24mm VC lens is an excellent choice in an ultra wide lens for your camera. Its actually quite sharp and being stabilized its also fairly good to use hand held indoors.

Seriously, you are considering getting a Tamron when there are three Nikon lenses to pick from that are all better, have better IQ, will sell used for more and are manufactured to better standards?

No, there is a 1.5 factor. The 10mm on a crop camera is actually 1.5 X 10 or 15mm on a cropped sensor. Which is still wide coverage.
