Thank you so much Angela! We go there at lease 2x a year. Once for the orchids in June and once for the camellias in winter. It's always a crap shoot with the camellias as they are so sensitive to the severity of the winter. Peak can be anywhere from late January to late March. And the rhododendrons in the spring are incredible.
It's a great place to go and relax when work and traffic start to get you crazy at anytime of the year. There's always something to see in the greenhouse even if nothing else is blooming. Highly recommended.
p.s. Loved your posts on the sculptures at Old Westbury.
Your favorite flowers are certainly beautiful. I love the various shades and forms of the flowers! You have presented them very well!

Ralph, I've been there many times and it is a wonderful place to visit... we have so many beautiful places to visit on LI... Bayard is my favorite, but Old Westbury Gardens is another gorgeous place to go with a camera!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the sculpture series... this artist is a master and his work looks so real, even up close!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!!

How can you not like them, they are beautiful. BTW are those spectacular Copper Beech trees still doing well at Coe Hall. Do they still have musical performances there?

Unfortunately I believe they lost one back in '06. They were having outdoor shows for a while but not recently. They do still have indoor shows at Coe Hall. Piano recitals, chamber music etc... Thanks for looking.
