Bought new in the late 60's to go with my Nikon F and Nikkormat and never used. It has been stored with my camera stuff since then with the
batteries removed from the meter. The meter is cosmetically in perfect condition and includes the original leather case, manual, and leather neckstrap. The manual says it requires 2 Mallory PX 13 Mercury batteries that are not made anymore and the internet says they are rare and hard to find. It has been dormant without batteries for 47 years. $25 plus shipping, sold as-is.

Batteries Plus sells the replacement battery. The Duracell 625.

Thanks, I've been through all that. The 625's are 1.5 volt batteries and don't hold their voltage making the older light meters erratic. It takes two 1.35 volt mercury batteries that hold a constant voltage throughout their life. I tried some Wein batteries from China in it from B&H but they must have been old stock because they only put out 1 volt each. The meter requires a constant 2.7 volts for reliable readings.

Well that bites. I have an old Luna Pro that I recently found and was planning to put it back in service. So much for that idea.
