Dek, I really like that third image! You might sell it to a travel guide or book.

Nice shots, dek. I, too, like that third one. Good imagination there.

I agree, they are all good, but #3 is the money shot!

All are really good photography!

None of them are Street Photograpjy.

Street necessarily means spontaneous non-staged images of life. Any type of a performance intended to be viewed by an audience is completely outside the very definition of what Street Photography is all about

Thinking a little more about it...I think I prefer a wider defination.
Any spontaneous action or interaction of people in public ( on the street)

Hmmm. Looked like street photography to me.

Sounds great perhaps, but that just goes against every authoritative reasoned understanding of why Street Photography is what it is.

If we accept just any nice picture we have the Photo Gallery, and just like accepting anything showing people would make this the People Photography Section, we need to accept that it is Street Photography that this section is about.

Every authoritative discussion of Street Photography explains why staged performances are not Street.

A staged performance or interaction is, by definition, not spontaneous. Note too that "on the street" in the sense you intend is not the same terminology as the "Street" in Street Photography. Street Photography is about a community and requires no connection to a roadway.

I give up. I will no longer post in your section. I'm sure you know there are many that disagree with your narrow definition.

Images should be posted in an appropriate section.

Arbitrarily redefining Street Photography to fit images because we like them or because we took them would make this section redundant with the Photo Gallery section.

Note that the stated definition is not mine. That definition is univerasally accepted by virtually every authority on Street Photography (because it is logical). Read Wikipedia for starters perhaps, but the best resourse is the 1994 book Bystander: A History of Street Photography written by Colin Westerbeck with photo editing by Joel Meyerowitz.

I guess I don't know which definitions are the authoritative ones.
