Day 178 - Photo A Day Challenge - 6-26-2012

Welcome to Day 178 :) I have good news and bad news .. the good news is I went all day today and the migraine is only at a dull roar .. so hopefully it's on the way outta here !!! The bad news is the hubby convinced me it wasn't a good idea to go out today so I got nothing. LOL
Today is all about Courthouses. Now I know that some of you have wonderful old courthouses in your towns... Unfortunately here in Tucson we don't.... yet another challenge I didn't think through very well hahhaha. So I checked my archives and found a couple .. but I'm afraid that's as good as it's going to get for me today. Here are what examples I do have (such as they are) I sure look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

This is our boring courthouse
Ive showed this building several times .. it is our former courthouse .. now being used by the county recorders office ... rather than show the whole thing I just will show some of the nice details

this is the courthouse in Florence .. under renovation .. this is the best I could do without all the contruction vehicles in the way

don't have any court buildings, the one in Las Vegas looks terrible wouldn't know what it was, this is my wee Mum getting sworn in and received her citizenship papers (the right way) pleased as punch she was

Very quiet, hit a few brewpubs, no excess, but did take 450 photos and if ever PG wants to see sailboats, I can help her out

Had to do a "road trip" to get these, but here are 2 from Maine.
Detail of the main door of the Cumberland County Courthouse, Portland. No one uses this door anymore.
Hope you can read this. Established in 1760 when Maine was a territory of Massachusetts.
The court house for our county - York. Was in it once years ago
