Most people want to go to Disney World or Universal Studios to get their "Worlds Fix". I prefer Kennedy Space Center. I don't know about most folks but I seem to get dust in my eyes viewing every exhibit.
It is a wonderful experience for all ages. The oldsters like me are still in awe of the accomplishments of NASA that have occurred during our lifetime and the kids that I see there are just opened mouthed with the size and majesty of the whole place. I have always worried that our "totally connected" children of today will not find the idea of exploring space as significant as we did, but after seeing the looks on their faces and hearing the comments from them I am no longer worried.
This is a great way to stay cool in the Florida heat.

It's a great place to visit, I see the space man is still working. Here's one with my wife.
Looks like a fantastic place to visit. The pictures you took are very good.

I live in Phoenix but I've been to Kennedy. You're absolutely correct, this is an awesome place no doubt!
