Interesting photos. Right off the bat, that was a great photo of Hitchcock and the lion. One question, though. What happened to Hitler's pants?

Wow! What a collection. I remember reading something about ships being discovered under a city, but I think it was Manhattan, rather than San Francisco.

No you are correct, the whole city area is filled-in and lot of that "fill-in" is actually made up of old ships!

My memory is a little hazy, but I'm pretty sure that in (July?) 1944 a failed assassination attempt using a bomb in a briefcase could well have torn them up like that. Hitler sustained some serious injuries, to include psychological damage that made him really go off the deep end later as Germany's military situation steadily deteriorated.

I always thought the Titanic sank at night. Photo looks like plenty of light. And what about the date for the Wright Brothers flight? I thought it was in 1903. Some of these are amazing photos.

Those are the pants that Hitler was wearing when a bomb set under the conference table went off in an assassination attempt.
