... without colors !

Just trying something new for me - flowers in black and white. In other words, take away an important element in a flower - its colors. Flowers without colors !

I used the simple good old Picasa which I regularly use and am most familiar with.

With or without colors ...flowers are still beautiful!

I'm not normally a fan of B&W for flowers. However, these are different. The flowers really stand out from the background. The exposure is good so you can clearly see their form and detail. IMO these are excellent and B&W gives them an artistic flair!

B&W is a lonely place for flowers, they must make their statement with shade and texture. They, and you, with the exception of #3 have done that well. Reality is that at times white is so white and smooth so smooth that it is just the way it is.

Sundar, unique and I like it. Back in the day I took a lot of B&W for flowers and plants and these take me back to then. Thank You.

You're right, Sundar. They are still pretty even without color. Nicely done.

I hate to be the odd man out but a flower without color is like a fine wine without aroma. Nice try, but not for me.

In B&W it does make you focus on the structure of the flowers. Well done!
