I have this lens. Very close and very clear. Still just very, very small! The seller should post some of his photos with the lens. I have been very pleased with my lens. At some point I will sell it to get the new version. Some do not like the "trombone" method of adjusting the zoom, rather than twisting the lens. Some like that a lot. If you look at any of my recent posts, almost all of the photos have been with this lens. I do a lot of wildlife photos, and this lens stays on my camera.

I have posted many, many shots at the Richmond Metro Zoo that have been taken with this lens. I won their photo contest last year using this lens. I am only selling it because I have upgraded to the Mark II. Lovely lens as well. Thanks for the comments sb.
