Can anyone please recommend a wired and/or wireless remote shutter release for the above camera. Many thanks.

It looks like your choices are limited to one, by Olympus.

I just bought the Olympus RM-CB2 remote shutter release. It is good, very simple, with only one function--to press shutter. Other functions for time-lapse, etc., are handled in-camera.
I was able to get mine through rewards points from a lens purchase through Olympus. But it took a month to arrive, even though they were available from B&H. My experiences with the Olympus Store
have not been smooth, so I recommend going through B&H. [I also waited a month for the camera body although B&H was shipping them the whole time.]

That's obvious from the line above your text - with your location - "UK."

I bought a generic wired remote for my omd camera and works perfectly. Didn't cost an arm and a leg either.

With Olympus wifi option. You can control the camera from your smart phone or tablet. Also, you can use the touch screen to focus and shoot with a time delay which would reduce camera shock while shooting. If you do this in silent mode there is no shutter shock. You can do these things even if using remote flash. For me these techniques works well, so I have no particular need for a separate conventional trigger. Hope this helps... happy shooting :)

I bought this one from Amazon UK. It's a simple release, nothing fancy and works fine with the Mark 2 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00PL4AHXK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Just spotted it's out of stock but I'm sure I read somewhere any release with a jack plug will work

They just started shipping the shutter release for the E-M1 mrII at the beginning of July. I have had my shutter release on order at my local camera store since mid June. My favorite sales person told me that it was just shipped today and will be at the store soon. Although the IS is unsurpassed, the high res shots require a tripod and shutter release.
