Lensbaby Scout with Wide Angle Optic

These were taken at the end of last August using my D7100. I've done minimal processing, mainly for contrast with a few other tweaks on some, with no cropping. I was just playing, seeing what the wide angle optic would do.

Cathy, I've never seen this optic used before and I also have one, but never tried it, it creates a very unique effect that I really like, especially on your first shot!!
I enjoyed them all and thanks for sharing these, now I might have to dust mine off!! Do you also have the telephoto optic??
What fun to post and share on this Lensbaby section!!!

It sure is fun! Yes, I have the telephoto too, but have never tried it. Now that you've brought it up, I'm going to have to play with it. lol! Thank you for commenting, Angela!

Angela, after our last exchange on here about wide angle optics, I remembered there are two different Lensbaby wide angle optics. These pictures were taken with the 0.42X Super Wide Angle optic, not the 0.6X Wide Angle that comes with the 1.6X Telephoto. I think I'll do a comparison between the two wide angle optics to see what the differences look like.

Wow, Cathy! Very cool! I love the second shot where the red is just bursting off the page. What a neat optic to play with. It sure gives you a different perspective. Thanks for sharing!

Sis, I love them all. Some of the could be scenes in a movie.

Like the effect of this lens in #1. Bet it would be great to use with kids splashing in a pool or waves crashing over rocks. I really need to check out all of the Lensbabys' as I really do not know what is available or uses. Your post helped show us what this one does. Enjoyed.

Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment! It is a lot of fun to use, and there it's sat all Fall, Winter and Spring. I gotta get with the program!

I really like the effect too, Sandy. IMO, it would be great where there's water such as the waves hitting rocks, a fountain, etc. Unfortunately, around here, the only fountain I can think of trickles over the rocks. Thank you so much for commenting!

Thank you for commenting, lensbaby007. It is a lot of fun. In fact, they're all a lot of fun. lol! If you decide to take the plunge, eBay is a good source where we can get some very good deals on them, and sometimes Amazon. EBay's where I've purchased most of mine.
