Composer Pro with Single Glass Optic

For these pictures, I used the f2.8 disk. These pictures were taken on a walk down the street to see what the street vendor's garden patch at one of the busiest intersections in Missoula looks like. It's all recently planted, but there were quite a few dahlias and others already blooming. I bent the lens a little too far to the right in the last pic. I'll just have to try again... Oh, darn! lol!

It had been awhile since I had used it, Angela. It felt strange at first. I'm glad you like the dahlias so much. They have to be among the most photogenic of flowers. Thank you so much for the wonderful comment and thumb!

Sis, they look great to me. Why f2.8?

Simply beautiful, Cathy! I love all of the vibrant colors of the flowers. I love using the larger apertures to get the maximum blur effect. I've been experimenting with the smaller apertures, but I keep going back to the larger ones.
I haven't been brave enough to start bending the Composer, but I'll have to start sometime I guess. Donna said she might post a lesson in bending which would be awesome. Thanks for posting!

I wanted to see what the result would be, Bro. I'm always experimenting with Lensbabies. I originally had an f4 aperture disk in the optic, but didn't want too much DOF in focus. Thank you so much for the compliment!

I would love to see the lesson too, Jane! It seems there is always something to learn with these lenses and optics. We sure can't get bored with them! lol! And I keep going back to the larger apertures too.

Thank you for the wonderful compliment!

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment, Merry! It's pretty hard to get a bad shot of a dahlia, IMO.
