Which Lensbaby system to get into

As the topic states, which Lensbaby should I consider or system. I am intrigued by the new Velvet 85mm f 1.8 but open to suggestions.

Also as an aside, I appear to be the first male to start a topic here. That is strange to me.

Thanks in advance,

Greg

There are a few options to pick from, Greg, and my advice to you is to check them all out and maybe you'll see one that speaks to you. Go to Lensbaby.com and check out their galleries showing how the different lenses work. I started out with the Composer Pro II with the Sweet 35 optic and recently acquired the Velvet 56, which is definitely my favorite. Of course that could change!
As far as being a male in this section, I think it's because a lot of the men don't like the soft focus photography. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's just my guess.

Jane, thanks. Soft focus goes way back as far as my own experience goes. I remember using petroleum jelly on filters to get the effect in the late 60s and 70s.

Thank you, Angela. That is what I am doing and I will let everyone know when I get one by posting the photos in the new section.
