Flowers from my latest trip 2

Here are the Berkeley flowers

Because of the size of the Datura flower I had to use my 11-18mm lens so this isn't a true macro but it is 1:1 This was shot with the lens face straight up and inside the flower. I also used a diffuser outside on the bright side of the flower to tone it down.

Sweet! Although I prefer the color photos, the B+W do have fascinating lines that tantalize the eye. Nice set Jambulee.

Yes very nice shots :thumbup: well.....that settles it...next lens is gonna be a wide one....16...maybe a 20.

Thanks Doug. I'll get back to ya with the set but nothing special just tubes and available light. I'll add more detail later.

Hey Bret thanks for you appreciation. The wide lens is nice to have I must say I don't use it very much but it is good to have when the occasion presents itself.

Right on Shaka very nice work on both your topics. Thank you Nikonion72 for the link. I couldn't do some of my macro work without the articulating LCD screen of the 60D, especially the shot of the Datura where the lens faced straight up.
