I joined hoping to discover new and interesting things to do with my newest hobby(obsession) of photography.
I have always taken point and shoot snapshots but wanted to play around with learning dslr photography so I purchased an old (I do mean old)Canon digital rebel.
This was for a couple reasons not the least of which was it was cheap but also by learning on this I was forced to actually learn how to use the camera as opposed to the camera compensating for my errors.
I have since then moved up to a more respectable T1i.
Welcome to the Hog and as Hermione Granger once said, "Let's see then!" :)

Smart enough move(s)!
I still have a bit of fun with the little rebel 300d as well when I just want to try something quick

Dont disparage the old Canons - They are cheap enough now to leave in the car and still take a better image than a cell phone. (if you point them in the right direction) Plus it is now considered 'Retro'......rather than being 'cheap'.
have fun

I usually keep my t1i with me at all times
I'll start uploading a few pix once I get them sized small enough for the forum
