Finally! A cooperative subject! Not exactly BIF but beggar's can't be choosers!

Saw something out of the corner of my eye this AM through my side door curtain and it was a squirrel enjoying the bumper crop of acorns that dropped this year. What were the odds that he would still be there when I returned with my camera? Sure enough he was still there for a good 5 minutes or so. Didn't dare open the door so I stuck the lens through the slit in the curtains and got off a few. These were shot through both my side door and storm door glass with my Fuji HS25 in Program mode auto ISO and DR, crop factor 5.7, most at just under full zoom(><600MM). We don't get many wildlife photo opportunities in this busy area so this was a nice surprise on my day off. Even the weather cooperated. Thanks for looking and Happy Imaging!

Almost as good as a kitty shot Ms. Phile? I like them, cat squirrels, I used to work high-rise steel and any time you saw a squirrel running around up there you got a 20 minute break! I loved them!

Thanks so much for looking and commenting. They are cute I just wish they were a little more intelligent when crossing the roads. They seem to make the wrong choice a lot!
