Nice set and would you or anyone viewing happen to know the identity of the male seed eating bird on the left in the third image and also positioned on the left in the last image? It appears to be a fairly large bird, but I have looked in the Western copy of the Peterson Field guide and was unable to come up with a match! Thanks!

Thanks and think that's a very good ID, ajnorby and with your assistance I found image number 383 of the Black headed Grosbeak in the National Audubon Society Field Guide To Birds Easter Region which looks almost exactly exactly like the one in question! Thanks again!
