I love B&W... both in landscapes and body scapes, for much of the same reasons... I watch old movies that were B&W, and the detail and control all because of the lighting is simply masterful! Once color comes in, well that is a thing unto itself. instead of the form by itself, you get caught up in the color... not saying that is bad- just that it it a major element and it takes over. I really like platinum prints and other B&W prints in real life.
