What we k**led about 50 people with that big bomb drop. Maybe we could have the same with 22 cab. rifle.

Just our of curiosity, did you see the aerial footage of this drop? That re-arranged the landscape for some distance around where the bomb landed. Most likely those caves and tunnels are no longer.

The MOAB was likely used as much for messaging aimed at certain despots as it was for tactical execution.

They talk about people being "vaporized" by the bomb, and that the tunnels would have collapsed, so I imagine the number given is what they could verify.

I saw a report that said 22 people.
