Epson printer WF 3640 that I am trying to link to print with my Toshiba tablet wireless. The Toshiba tablet uses Android and is rather old so the Android is of lower end. My problem I was wondering about is the printer set to only work with higher Androids because I cannot link it to print wireless. I wrote the manufacturer and got no response. BTW is anyone else having problems getting service from the manufacturers of products? Like the product but their service sucks. Yet they boast having great service.
I own this printer and love it. It is a home school, duplexing workhorse. With a continuous ink system attached, I am in printer heaven.
I do not print to it from android devices. These printers seem to all require another app for printing. I did not accept installation of any of the extraneous "connect" apps on computer or mobiles. I have an uncomfortable sense these apps are taking the print job outside my network only to send it back. Direct to device wireless printing may be available via a paid app but I stopped trying to figure it out. I trust my instincts.
Let me know if you find a solution.
Is your Android device updated? Can you consult an Android store for help? Email the file to yourself then print it.
That's my WAG
Good luck
