Epson printer problem.

Epson printer WF 3640 that I am trying to link to print with my Toshiba tablet wireless. The Toshiba tablet uses Android and is rather old so the Android is of lower end. My problem I was wondering about is the printer set to only work with higher Androids because I cannot link it to print wireless. I wrote the manufacturer and got no response. BTW is anyone else having problems getting service from the manufacturers of products? Like the product but their service sucks. Yet they boast having great service.

Probably the great service is only for owners of the professional Epson printers. I have one and all I have to do is call them and I do get great advice and service.

I got great service as well. Just a phone call away and they did not ask if I was a professional.

Sorry to those of you who replied. This question was not about the service. Not really but it was about the Android. Thanks for your help.

I believe that you need the "Epson Connect" app installed on your tablet in order to facilitate wireless printing.

Pick up your phone and CALL Epson! Their support is among the best I have experienced.

From my iPad/iPhone, I use the Epson iPrint app to print to my WF-4540. I have no idea if there is an Android version of the app.

I would not bother printing from an android. With softer it is possible but unsatisfactory. Plug the android into your PC and then print away. Android tablets com under the category of semi useful devices.

I have used Epson printers for 25 or so years, mostly the photo series. I have this printer also and use it wirelessly on a Mac- no issues. I have always gotten good responses when needing to speak to a tech.

Their service is TERRIBLE!!!!! From Manila. I had a girl get frustrated with me because she had an accent and thought her English was flawless (apparently). She kept insisting that I entered the wrong password. I checked and wrote it FOUR different times. Their machine would not recognized my Apple Airport Extreme's password. I returned that piece of crap.
