A realtor friend of mine asked me to shoot some interiors and exteriors of a 2 million dollar home she was listing for her flyers.I told her according to my research a wide angle lens is what I need to use and I did not have one but I would give a shot anyway. I shot the house using my 18-140mm and 35mm on a Nikon D7100. She really liked the photos but said she could not use them because the sizes were to small and needed to be 1024 x 768. Now I'm really lost. Can I resize the photos on my computer? I do not have photoshop but am willing to get it if I can get this done. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

What size are the files you sent her?
The D7100 can deliver you a 6000 x 4000 pixel image, quite a bit more than 1024 x 678.
Your D7100 has a 24MP sensor that will create images with a maximum of 6000 x 4000 pixels. What format are you capturing images and what actions did you before before sharing images with your friend?
How did your photos become so small? Your D7100 can give you jpeg files of 2992x2000 ,4496x3000, or 6000x4000 pixels. The photos will become too grainy if you try to increase the resolution in software.
If you emailed the pictures your email program may have reduced the size. Check the size of the original images. You should be in good shape.

All i did was crop a little
How do you check the size

What size pictures did you take? Raw? Jpegs? What size Jpegs?
Page 68 in your manual has a table of file sizes. Do you recall which jpeg size, you used? As an earlier poster mentioned, the files may have been resized to send via email. If this is what happened, save them to a thumbdrive and mail or deliver them.
You need to check what size you saved them as.
Will you post a sampling of what you shot? I am a professional RE photographer and maybe I can help. I deliver 2440 on the long side. I always shoot raw. Lens wise I use mostly a Nikon 14-24 on a D810 and a Nikon 19mm tilt-shift. I process in LRCC and export sRGB JEPG. Most RE photographers that use a DX camera use and ultra-wide angle lens at 12mm or there about. Usually, I find that someone who has never shot RE does not do a credible job on a first shoot. It's normal for real estate agents to use the same images for MLS and flyers.

Best to reshoot. One cannot upgrade so set the camera to the highest. You can always go down but not up.
there are resizers on line you can use for free..
Try this program, it works for me.
FastStone Photo Resizer
Don
Go into your camera settings and select JPG fine this is the largest file, other than RAW. You stated you do not have Photo Shop. So use JPG Fine.
