My name is EJ, and I'm about 30mi SW of the Milwaukee area. I've dabbled in photography since I was a kid, in the 60's. I have only a film camera, a Nikon N90s, with almost every available accessory. I do not own a digital, unless you count my smartphone, whose camera I rarely use. I don't consider myself old-fashioned, but I don't see the need to replace a lightly-used premium camera that is currently worth almost nothing in trade. I'm most interested in outdoor & nature photography. Glad to be a part of your group!
Welcome! Looking forward to your posts and pictures. Happy shooting!

Not far, just east of Twin Lakes, in SE Kenosha County.
Welcome to the HOG. I graduated from UW-Whitewater and son lives near Lake Geneva. Digital is the only way to go. Even a point and shoot has control like the SLR with exposure an ISO ect. I use PhotoShop Elements (low cost) and it is half the fun of photography. If you have a good scanner you can copy your negatives and then post process it. Good luck. David
