Hello,

Working in Windows and looking for software to do a slideshow with music and potentially text(titles etc) Have seen older posts on here wanted to get a view of latest. Have seen references to proshow and Ashampoo? thoughts?

THanks!

Love ProShow.
Had ProShow Gold, now using Producer.
Just finished a 450 image show today in Producer.
So intuitive!
I will even allow you to sync the slides to the beat of the music.
Never used or seen Ashapoo in action.
They have quite a range of products.

What GoofyNewfie said. My wife uses it to produce slideshows at work. It's easy to use.

ProShow always seems the most popular.

If you have it, Lightroom does it too.

Since I don't have ProShow I use a video editing program. All the video editing programs can use still images. My personal favorite is Adobe Premier Elements.

Irfanview while pretty basic can do a slideshow with music. It will save a slideshow as an executable.

It is also a good viewer with some editing ability. It is what I use for my first edit/delete at the end of the day. It reads my jpg and nef files.

And it is free.

As others have mentioned, ProShow does a fantastic job. I've used it for 10+ years.
