President Trump has replaced the bust of Winston Churchill taken down by Obama and under it had a meeting with the UKs Prime Minister,Theresa May which,if reports are true envisages a good future for the two countries together.
Britain is building two new carriers and using US aircraft though with uK input. The only problem is Russia as the UK wants to continue sanctions and it remains to be seen if Trump will go along wit that.

President Trump will make it work.
Skip the i***t diplomats that haven't figured out how to do a deal for 100 years now and taking decades to do a bad deal.

Um... Obama didn't "take it down". He returned to England --- GWBush had asked to borrow it, and they wanted it back. Since it is now back in England, I don't see how Trump could have used it for his meeting in DC.

SO, basically, Conservatives are building a NEW lie on top of an OLD lie.

President Trump is doing exactly what I would be doing.
He is evaluating each issue first hand before deciding what he wants to do about them.
He wants to meet with Putin in person to deliver the message: 'We will no longer tolerate what you are doing in the world. You can either stand down and no further actions will be taken against Russia, or feel the pain of future actions.'

so this is exactly what you want him to say to Putin? I don't think it's going to go like that, but it's in Putin's interest to make Trump look like the bomb~

One thing that Putin know for sure is that there will be no reset button.

Much ado about not much..

Seem there were two bust by same artist. One a gift during LBJs term. One loaned to Dubya while the original was being repaired, loan expired when Dubya left office and bust was returned to England (not physically, it has been in the UK Ambassador's residence.) It's a bit more complicated than that...read the story

Read the Washington Post article green posted above. The bust that was in the Oval office was borrowed by Bush, and returned by Obama, and is now in the Bristish Ambassador residence (now sure if that's in the US or Britain).

According to our papers Trump had it returned to the Oval Office and he and Theresa May met under it.
Mind you our papers tend to write what they think it's readers want to hear.
