Lightroom/Photoshop CC training

There are a myriad of training sites and courses online, both paid and free. I would like to hear from fellow members their suggestions, based on personal usage, about some of these training/learning sources. Lightroom is where I want to concentrate first.

I prefer to choose one source that will take you from the beginning, workflow/file management, and move forward from there. Suggestions for paid or free training. Thanks in advance.

I highly recommend the training DVDs from Laura Shoe. There are two, each about $ 50. I bought and used them and found them very helpful in getting me up to speed. Although I've been using PhotoShop for (seems like) centuries, I am a recent convert (15 months ago) to Lightroom. I find I now do 90% of my work in Lr and 10% in Ps. My workflow is much faster, much better and much easier. I also bought Kelby's book, which I also like, but I found the DVDs got me up-to-speed faster. If I get stuck, I often refer to both of them. Best of luck.

With the now ancient Lightroom 5, I watched through the tutorials done by Julieanne Kost. She is an Adobe employee with the odd title of "Principal Digital Imaging Evangelist". In plain language that means she is Adobe's head teacher.

She is both a good teacher and thoroughly knowledgeable.

Her tutorials have been updated for the current version and organized into a "play list" at Adobe's YouTube Channel.

Ben Willmore with CreativeLive.com. Everything you'll need to know, PDFs for guidance, tips and short-cuts. Watch at your leisure. Very good.

Matt Kloskowski did a lot of the work for Kelby. He left there and went to ON1. He has been featured at Creative Live and others. Last year he went on his own and developed a Lightroom course. http://mattk.com/ I think the price is about $130.
