Is this happening to you

When viewing other things on the computer, I occasionally get a voice, as well as text, warning about a virus. The instructions give a phone number to call to fix the virus. This sounds like a scam. I ignore the message. Does this happen to you?

I get them once in a while to; usually I'm on a site that I shouldn't be on

It is a scam. I once clicked on it and it brought a bunch of adware and malware. I had to scan my computer to get rid of them (malwarebyte program works great for this).

You're probably getting these from porn sites. If you keep your Windows Task Manager open just go to the offending
task under applications and end the process.

You don't have to be on a porn site. If you click on sites like, "Secrets Revealed About JFK, or Things You Would like to Know About Bill Clinton's Mistresses, etc., have been known to cause Viruses and Malware on a computer and Smartphone. You have to re-activate your scan to rid of it. Be careful what you click on.

You have a virus. Apple walked me thru installing Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and it removed it.

I don't have Apple, but it works on many Operating Systems. I just discovered Malwarebytes late last year.
