The San Francisco Peaks are mountains just outside Flagstaff, AZ, some 90 plus miles from Watson Lake and Prescott, AZ. In the winter when the snow comes, it leaves a blanket of snow on the peaks that we can see all the way from Prescott. When you are at Watson Lake during this time, the snow capped peaks make a beautiful backdrop to the lake. Enjoy.

Thank you JoAnne. I was just in Maui staying at the Royal Lahaina from May 2 to May 9th. Unfortunately, we didn't have very good luck with the weather. Rained all but one day but we made the best of that day and drove to Hana and spent the whole day photographing waterfalls and scenes along the way. Love Maui and Lahaina.

BTW, the picture with my name on this site was taken from our balcony at the Royal Lahaina at sunset.
Very pleasing image and download is great. I have seen the SF Peaks in summer and fall, but never with snow.
Beautiful shot. The clarity and reflections really does it for me. If I took this shot I would crop some of the sky.
Very nice shot. Nicely composed. I like how the rock formation in the lower left balances the reflection in the lower right.
