I have not considered Snopes a reliable source for any subject even vaguely political for a very long time. For issues without a political consideration they were OK.

I'd believe the "Snopes" site, which I've not yet found to provide intentionally erroneous info, to the kooky "Freedom Outpost" website.

Why is Freedom Outpost a "kooky" site? Source links and people mentioned can be checked. Try Kim Lacapria, for example. Right at the top of Google:

You're right! Freedom Outpost is a reliable and well respected site. I'm not sure if they are better than the Enquirer,but they are right up there!
