Biography



Miss Melissa was singing before she could form sentences, mimicking Disney songs and James Brown at the ripe age of two years old. She started writing her own music many years ago and has since written several albums worth of material on the ukulele, guitar, bass and piano. Music has always been one of her greatest passions, although the dream of releasing her own CD has stayed on the back-burner for quite some time because of the expenses. She aims to write music and lyrics that people can connect with and find solace in, and hopes this album is a reflection of just that!

Melissa Lingo currently funds this dream by teaching beginners ukulele, singing/playing at weddings and making coffee for the good people of the Sacramento Foothills!
