"ZeeTech" or "Base Wireless" on Amazon - Has anyone heard of them?

My brother is looking to get a new camera to replace his old Pentax. He is planning on getting either a Nikon D7100 bundle or a Nikon D7200 bundle and was looking on Amazon. The said they have a D7200 bundle for $1174 and an equivalent D7100 bundle for about $300 less. He wants to know if the D7200 would be worth the $300 difference in price. Personally I think it is worth the extra.

He also asked if I ever heard of ZeeTech that has the bundles advertised on Amazon. Here is a link to the bundle offer he is considering:

https://www.amazon.com/ZeeTech-Ultimate-18-55mm-55-300mm-4-5-5-6G/dp/B01LZ4KY3F/ref=sr_1_5?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1480448341&sr=8-5&keywords=D7200+ZeeTech

It says "Ships from and sold by BASE WIRELESS". Has anyone hear heard of "Base Wireless" or "ZeeTech", or have any info on if they are a reputable outfit to deal with? Any information will be greatly appreciated. The price sounds good, but it makes me wonder if it may be too good, kind of like "42nd Street Photo".

I have never heard of ZeeTech or Base Wireless. Have you or your brother done an internet search on those names?

I did think of that and I couldn't find anything on either. I then tried searching here and didn't find anything here from previous posts either.

Did you see the notation near the top, "Goto 42Photo.com/Nikon"

That would make me concerned!

That offer is very similar but the other offer my brother is looking at also includes the 55-300mm zoom lens.

I would not consider any "bundle". It is almost always JUNK.

No, I didn't notice that, and it would concern me too. I am looking at the Amazon ad now but I don;t see where, in the ad, you are referring. What else is near the reference in the ad, so I can find it?

I near buy the bundles either, since I feel in most cases the extras offer very little, if any, added value.

The case, memory card, tripod and cleaning kits are the junk. Assuming that the camera and lenses are not grey market and are legit Nikon, then p[-consider it. After all, you have protection buying through Amazon.

It wasn't the Amazon ad. The third post down from the top of this subject lists a web address that canarywood1 found via google. I clicked on that link and found, right after the title what I posted.

I'd steer clear of that. Why are they offering the 18-55mm lens? That's not usually sold with the D7200. The price is low, suggesting gray market. In the chart at the bottom of the page, the kit next to it is described as "International" - gray market. Adorama and B&H have the body and 18-140mm lens for $1,296. That looks like a better deal. And with Adorama, you get some extras.
