A couple of hours into her session she moved into the bedroom at the suite and removed her clothes. She lay down on the bed. After a while she was in her private happy place.

The image and lighting on #2 superb... as is the composition triangle shoulder up to hands over to nose.... (sugested) rule of 1/3s.... bright upper 1/3... hands/shoulder bright spots 1/3 at left. Nose face 1/3 at right. If you do not wear glasses barrow thick ones, if you do wear thick glasses like me take them off and you better see composition with out distraction of detail. Not joking !

You captured two outstanding images that do say"My private Happy Place" Perfect in every way from Composition to Lighting to Pose.

Thank you Stan. This was about 20 minutes after she lay on the bed, and quite a while after she last had her eyes open. Long after she had any thought of posing or of my being in the room. Her relaxing deep breaths, soft sounds, and body movements tell the story.

I'm having a terrible time interpreting the first image. Directly under her right breast appears some mass of flesh that has no counterpart on the left side. I just can't figure it out. I blew up the image and still couldn't. Must be something I ate for dinner.

The blue cloth is covering her left ribs. Is that it?

Maybe the darkness creates a mood that the photographer wanted?

I agree with the pose/cloth/body elements not standing out clearly. One should not be distracted by trying to figure out something so physical in the photo; figuring out mood, or thoughts, or story, or subtext (what would it be called in photography) is OK, and even great, as you have shown in much of your work.

Now, the second photo is terrific. The lighting, pose, etc, create mystery that really resonates with me... and not even any requirement for nudity. Great shot.
