In one word.... ARROGANCE.

During the last 8 years the democrats have been busy redefining America, first with Obamacare which the majority of the American people clearly let it be known that they did not want. They then declared war on our energy sectors, redefined marriage, redefined for us who could use which public restrooms and showers even in our public schools. President Obama pushed the boundaries of the executive branch as he rewrote law, granted sweeping legal status to the undocumented and opened our borders to 100's of thousands of so called refugees from Central and South America and the Middle East, while telling us who we are as a people, such arrogance, telling us how we think even though the American public at large overwhelmingly expressed great reservation at much of what the president had taken upon himself to do alone without congressional buy in. Just how many times did we hear the president tell us that this is not who we are as the American people as if he alone could speak for us and our values. Then we had the Obama Justice Department which has gone after police departments all over the country in an attempt to put them under federal control, they chose to define h**e crimes so as to mean that only white perpetrators would be prosecuted... The Obama justice department was blind to government corruption, blind to the weaponization of the IRS, blind to the t***sgressions of the executive, while it focused on the political advisories of the Democrat party...... Finally we had the courts and the spoken hope of the democrats for activism which would only further the weakening of our country's constitution......

Democrats had decided that they had finally become unstoppable and that they would remold America to their liking, well, that long forgotten silent majority finally rose up and demanded that their voices be heard.

Well put, thank you.

Let's hope we never let such perverts back into power.

Their arrogance during the last 8 years is a pittance compared to what they are displaying in losing. Their conduct as the losing party in an e******n is amateurish, childish at best. "How dare we deny them what they considered to be theirs for the asking. Their campaign was deplorable and now their conduct is unacceptable. If the democrats insist on being such bad losers the nation very possibly could show them the exit. Their intent for the nation is crippling and decisive and is leading to the demise of the USA. Seems the Bollyhood contingency promised once again to leave if K**lary wasn't appointed president. Go ahead, get out! Nobody is going to miss them or their selfishness. Streisand and Goldburg both promised to leave when Bush won and they are such liars they reneged on their promise. Go on, get out you worthless bastards! America does not need nor want such arrogance.

I completely disagree with your interpretation. People saw it wrong. I do believe that a lot of the ppl who v**ed have NO idea how government works. They didn't/don't know that the House controls the pursestrings of the gov't. They blamed the office of the presidency when it should have been the House.

We're now stuck with a totally inept man who has the discipline of a child, but the ppl have spoken. I can only wish that he will surround himself with intelligent ppl but looking at his aids, that seems to be a dream. He has reached out to Pelosi and Shuman which is to be commended. I am not militant like some of my Democratic friends are and hope r**ts stop, however, it is their right. I will hold his feet to the fire tho, Trump's displayed very poor judgement in most of his decisions. I would hope Trump will think twice before appointing Rudy, Newt, Flynn or Carson because they have displayed the same poor judgement.

We absolutely know how government works. The house was too lame to stand up to a black totally incompetent rabble rouser community activist president because they did not have the balls to do so because they knew any opposition to the jerk would be labeled r****t and they would be mercilessly excoriated by the left and the media which as we now know is is a branch of the democrat party.
I wish they had the balls to stand up and that is where the anger came from at republicans as well and the desire for an outsider to drain the swamp.
Trump is brilliant to battle the democrats, the clinton crime family, the democrat propaganda machine aka the media, the RINOs and he won with a message of real hope to clean up the cesspool starting with the sick pervert in the white house.

The e******n proved to be common sense over progressive impulse. Thank you, common v**er - your sense has provided a platform for accomplishment. Eight more years, please.

25-30 more years that way we can get a couple of generations living under a philosophy of self discipline.

And you know how our government works? That is hilarious. You are not even aware that we have the President and Congress are co-equal branches of government.

He has displayed very poor judgement in most of his decisions? Really? Seems he make enough good decisions to get himself elected.

Did you really just write that? If so, is that what you believe? R**ting is not, nor has it ever been, a "right". Peaceable assembly is a right.

It is amazing how little people know about rights (Which also require responsibility) today. The above statement is absurd and there is no right to do what is being done in any way at all no matter how you twist and turn.

Read this:
Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

As you can see the i***ts who are r**ting and the even stupider people who say it is a right are dumber than a box of rocks. The Constitution's First Amendment says PEACEABLY assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. The results of a p**********l e******n does not qualify as a grievance needing redress in any way shape or form and r**t in the streets burning cars etc. which I saw on TV happening. PS note that speech and actions are addressed separately and are not the same thing in the Constitution.

I am so tired of losers twisting every perverted act and calling it a Constitutional right where it is not one and is not protected.

Excellent post.
I wonder if Trump is going to be any different but only from the far right.
