How do you get the clarity and sharpness demonstrated in these pics I have tried repeatedly with no luck Is it in the lenses used or in post processing I'm wondering if you would care to share and help an older fella out

duck trails shot with d7200 and nikon 200-500 f5.6 lense, 1/1250 sec f6.3 460mm iso 100 center weighted average metering. post process of raw file thru viewnxi for import and then to lightroom cc, topaz clarity, photoshop cc export to jpeg. This process allows a great deal of adjustment to taste along the way.
