The HDR treatment is good - not overdone. I would have backed up if possible or used a wider lens to show more context -- to show the reflections in the pond. There are so many great photo opportunities in that place -- wondering if you have other shots to share...

I could have, however, I didn't want to clutter the composition with nonrelated structures or material items.

Yes it is. When considering the composition of a shot I'm also considering if it could benefit from being HDR. I believe on this shot I used a +3 -3 spread in the exposure. Thank you for your interest.

I like Chihuly's work. Your HDR effort really did make it pop, in a good way. Not overcooked. If you hadn't told me it was HDR I wouldn't have known and that's how it should be. Just a tool to bring out the best in an image.
