Several of you fellow Hogs mentioned a few weeks ago that the long awaited D500 arrived at your door steps. We are patiently waiting for your reviews, thoughts and images.

I have had the D500 for 3 weeks not happy at all. I think a D810 are $$$ better spent.

People how right this revues don't wont to ament that they f** up.

It is fast but that all I can say for it.

PS I do wild life and bird in flite.

What is your SPECIFIC criticism of the camera?

Best friend went from a 5100 to a d500, he praises the camera all the time BUT it seems that the 5100 shots were actually better. Clearer and better color. He said its because he is still learning how to use it. which may be the case...

Funny that you offer this as an explanation...

I have a D500 and quite honestly while testing it (not as the original poster) I was more than impressed by its performance and capabilities.
