A sad commentary. I like that the corner of the taller building is off center adding to the tension of the shot. I also like that you shot at the angle you did. My two quibbles are that I think you shot too close so the picture needs more on the left side. Stepping back would add foreground which is good but more of those straggly weeds which is bad. My second issue is the sky. A lot of potential for more drama with those clouds standing out against a darker sky.
My two cents. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the comments. This angle and crop was what I had in mind, three building faces arranged around the corner of the main structure and little else. Did some straightening and perspective tweaks, the building is noticeably crooked, cropped for simplicity, clouds were thin and open sky was limited to the right so didn't include it as an element in the shot and left it as you see in the edit. Weeds and even more unphotogenic piles of junk from the recent removal of the hangar next to this one are everywhere.
This one has been purchased with the plan of restoring it as a piece of local history. It is almost original, just run down.
Was this on a WWII air base? If so it may hold significance to more than a few Yanks who got into the war early via the Canadian/RAF.

Yes initially, and reopened as a flying school for a few years in the early to mid 50's. Google BCATP for a good Wickipedia article on these stations.
